OSCARS 2012 WRAP UP, BEST HAIR DO'S

Here is a wrap up list of my favorite hair DO'S of the 2012 Oscar Awards. This year it seemed like there was a more relaxed and less done up Red carpet.

I chose Kristin Wiig because her color really called out to me. This new 3D hair color is all the rave in Hollywood. Roots, Base, and Highlights are the new wave in natural hair color. It is flattering for all women and it is wearable all year long.

GET MADONNA AND AMANDA SEYFRIED CURLS!!!

Check out a funny little video a friend Theodore Leaf from the Sally Hershberger Salon LA made about the "Sh*t Hair Stylists Say".  It is pretty funny and ironically pretty true.

ADELE: BLONDE FOR THE 2012 GRAMMY AWARDS

Seems like the beautiful Adele has ditched her previous honey toned hair color for a more Golden Blonde look.

STYLING IDEAS: GET SHINY, HEALTHY, SEXY, CURLY HAIR!

Here is one of my favorite product cocktailing I like to suggest for styling to clients with Curly hair that just seems to be lacking shine and hydration. First you want to start off with a good Curl Activating Balm or Cream (These products are more easily absorbed into the hair contain a conditioning agent and can let you achieve the maximum result). My second favorite product is a Shine Serum (Shine Serums are great for coating the hair strand with a gloss that gives the curls a glistening shine). It is very important to remember to not use too much of the Serum, I suggest 2 parts Curl Balm or Cream to 1 part Shine Serum.

You want to apply these 2 products on your hair while it is still wet BUT toweled dry. You can also twist a few strands with your fingers for a few accent curls and let air dry, as we can see on Taylor Swift which is a more Structured look. 

To get Annalynne McCord's look you can use a diffuser for a more voluminous look with body. One trick when using the diffusaer is to not  use your fingers too much while drying or you will end up with frizzy curls.

Here is a recent picture of Rihanna with her newly dyed rooty Blonde hair. Not too sure I am a big fan with her dark olive skin. I hope its only temporary and from the looks of it, might just be a wig!
